Fir Cone Lace Stole

Fir Cone is a traditional Shetland lace pattern. It is another good pattern for beginner lace knitters, because the repeat is easily memorized, and the wrong side rows are plain purl.

Experience Level: Advanced Beginner

Materials: Lace weight yarn, 675 yds. Stole shown in Swan's Island Organic Merino.

I have knit this pattern numerous times for both a shawl and scarf. It always turns out lovely. A good pattern for those who are just starting lace knitting. I love it!!!
