Put some spring in your step! From Canon Hand Dyes, the cutest kit you'll find anywhere. The Graduated Stripes cowl is fun and easy to knit, and when else do you get to play with twelve different hand-dyed yarns. The accompanying main color base is a luxurious yak/merino blend. The result is a cowl you'll cherish (and if it's intended as a gift, one you'll likely want to keep for yourself).
Choose between Naked Bruce (taupe) or Je Suis Prest (charcoal) base. Each speckle set is unique and varies slightly.
Each kit contains:
- Free Range Speckles, a dozen mini-skeins of William Merino, 46 yds each, 75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon, nesting in a labeled egg crate
- a half-skein of Bruce Yak Merino, 218 yds, 50 g, 70% superwash merino wool, 20% yak, 10% merino.
- Graduated Stripes Cowl pattern
You'll need a US 3–5 16" circular needle, depending on gauge (8 sts = 1"). Gauge is not crucial for this project, you'll just want a cohesive, drapey fabric.
Finished dimensions of our knit sample: 23" circumference x 6" width (width is knit in the round, so is a double thickness)
