At The Yarnery, we seriously love to knit, but we try not to take learning too seriously! Knitting 101 is designed as a first step in knitting — if you've never touched a pair of knitting needles before, this class is for you. You'll learn the basics, about yarn and needles, how to cast on, knit and purl in the round. Don't know what most of those words mean? This class is definitely for you! The best part: your very first project is one you'll love to wear: our simple, stylish Inclination Cowl.

We'll send you a list of supplies you'll need after you register (pattern, skein of yarn, needles, a few notions), and we'll be happy to help you find them when you visit the shop. You'll receive 10% off all supplies for the class.

Recommended yarn: Worsted by Malabrigo

Save when you register for Knitting 101 and Knitting 102 together! Take both classes for $90 + supplies.

(Tip: Make sure to choose a Knitting 102 session that begins after the completion of your Knitting 101 session. Sticking with the same time/weekday is a good strategy!)

Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to the class policies.
