The Weather or Knot project, mentioned in The New York Times, provides an opportunity to add a daily knitting discipline to your year. Changing colors will track the temperatures, while those temperatures in relation to historical norms will be reflected in a simple stitch pattern. Weather may not equal climate, but we hope a year spent tracking temperatures gives you an awareness of the climate crisis in our world.
Our kits include general instructions, pattern, a customizable worksheet, and yarn in seven colors to create your Weather or Knot scarf.
