An extra warm knitting technique to get you through the winter? Leave it to the Swedes. Twined knitting is a Scandinavian technique dating back to the early 17th century, using two strands of yarn, alternating and twisting the strands between each stitch. The result is a warm, dense fabric with less tendency to curl (and the resulting pattern is most satisfying).
