Having learned the basics of brioche, take your skills to the next level: learn brioche in the round, master decreases and increases, read brioche charts, and conquer the tubular cast-on.
To succeed in this class you should have either taken our Brioche Basics class or be comfortable with brioche knitting.
Materials Needed
PATTERN
• Skogur by Jennifer Shiels Toland
RECOMMENDED YARNS
1 each of 2 contrasting colors of a plump fingering-weight yarn, such as:
• Tynd by Woolfolk, or
• Peerie by Brooklyn Tweed
NEEDLES
• US 4 (3.5 mm) 16" circular needle, and
• US 4 (3.5 mm) double-pointed needles (or long circular if using Magic Loop method; but please note that Magic Loops is not taught as part of this class), and
• US 8 (5 mm) 24" or longer circular needle for tubular cast-on (this is different than the pattern listing, per the instructor’s method)
