Socks get heavy wear, and hand-knit socks are precious. Store-bought items are definitely worth mending, too. Learn several different techniques, including reinforcing threadbare spots and handling holes. While we love visible mending, the main focus of this workshop will be invisible mending — good as new!
No experience necessary — you just need to be able to thread a needle.
Materials Needed
• Darning needle
• Darning mushroom or darning egg
• Scissors
• Reinforcing thread
• Your own socks with threadbare spots or small holes
No refunds are available for class registrations. Store credit will be issued for classes cancelled at least one week before the first session of a class. Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to all class policies.
