This yarn is so lovely to work with and perfect for the Norweigan-inspired slippers I am making for my daughters. The colors are beautiful too.

A "tried and true" yarn, great for color-patterned Nordic mittens.

    Great for cables

Purchased for large cable sweater. It's easy to fix mistakes because the yarn is not slippery and the cables pop.

I bought this yarn for color work. It is wonderful yarn. The colors are rich and appear as they do in the photos. I will be buying more. Quick delivery was appreciated too.

    Beautiful and natural

A little bit chunky, but softens after washing and use. Wool lovers would never find it itchy, so I don't :) I recommend it for newbies, because the yarn doesn't slip, specially with bamboo or wooden needles, and it's easy to keep the same tension all the time. Also it's nice because it's slightly fluffy, so beginner's mistakes are harder to perceive. I have used it on a two colour project, using the fair isle technique, and it has been great.

I first used Norweian yarn after a visit to Oslo, and I couln't have enjoyed it more! All I have done with their brands has been warm, beautiful, long lasting and good quality projects. I strongly recommend them! It reminds me of those cozy sweaters I used to wear as a kid and that are no longer available in the shops (there's polyester and bad quality stuff everywhere!).

Used this yarn for some Dew Drop mittens. Sturdy, wind resistant knit fabric that softened significantly with blocking. Will definitely use Rauma fiber again.
