Great yarn! More rustic than anticipated

The colors are gorgeous and there are so many to choose from! I expected the yarn to be softer but it’s not too rough. The search feels a lot softer after washing and blocking.

Our knitting group is making sky shawls, based on the colours of the sky every day this year. Host Garn has an amazing range of colours. It comes in every shade of the sky, including those pale grey days in spring. It's lightweight and lustrous.

I love this yarn; it is just what I wanted for a shawl that will be easy to wear as the weather transitions from cold to warm. The wide range of colors is astonishing.

    "Supersoft" fingering yarn

So far I've only knot a swatch with the recommended needle size. I'm not as happy with the result as hoped. I like the fabric with a smaller needle better, but then I get the wrong gauge for my project.

Lovely yarn to work with. I use it for lightweight sweaters. The wide range of colors are perfect for colorwork.
