    Beautiful!

This yarn is simply beautiful. I ordered several skeins of Raven because it's so reasonably priced for a sweater that requires a lot of yardage. I like that it is heathered. My experience with The Yarnery was amazing!

    Holst Garn Tides

With this yarn, a little patience brings big rewards. When I first got it, I loved the color but was disappointed in the somewhat scratchy feel. Then I knit a test swatch, and after I washed it - WOW! The yarn bloomed nicely and felt silky soft. It will make a gorgeous shawl.

This yarn is light as a feather and works up like a dream. I will definitely use this yarn again, especially for summer knits.

Love the wide selection of colors, that the yarn is already wound into a ball, and the great price! Tides will be a lovely addition to anyone's stash!

    An excellent yarn

Posted by Carolyn on 27th Nov 2019

I was drawn to Holst Garn Coast for the wide variety of colors, but wanted something a little more extravagant than wool/cotton for a present, so chose Tides. The yarn was a little coarse while I was working it up, and the plies occasionally split when I was using my pointier needles. A little attention to that, and blocking ... and the results were so soft and lovely that I ordered more within the week to make the same thing for myself.

Used for: Scalloway Yokes, by Ann Feitelson. Single strand.
