Washted

Washted is a superwash version of the classic Malabrigo Worsted Merino base. While remaining true to the original softness of worsted, it has been ‘washed it’ so you can too, allowing more freedom and ease of care. Like all Malabrigo yarns, it is kettle-dyed in small batches by our artisan dyers and is full of subtle variation and beauty. It is an ideal yarn for accessories and garments, next-to-skin wear, cables, textured stitches, colorwork, anything where warmth and comfort are a factor!

    A washable Malabrigo - so convenient. Great Malabrigo colorways and softness. Washable for my nephews who throw the wool hats into the laundry. We both win.

    Malabrigo was already one of my favorite yarns (their Rios line is one of my go-to yarns of choice), but I needed a worsted weight for a new project and was afraid Rios wouldn't cut it.
    Enter: Washted.
    All the beauty of Malabrigo's varied jewel-toned colorways, the prefect heft for the required gague, and it's washing machine safe (but it's wool, so no dryers. Do you want felt? Because that's how you get felt).
    A great yarn for beautiful, standout gifts and garments, knits up quickly!
