FREE to reserve your spot — KALs are for everyone!
The most laid-back knit-along ever. A chance to knit at your own pace, interact as you'd like, win prizes, and enjoy the camaraderie of other knitters. Here at The Yarnery we love the work of Edinburgh-based designer Rebecca Chow. Her patterns are second to none, size-inclusive with lots of customization options. Yarnery staffer Kathryn says, "getting one of her patterns is like getting eight patterns in one!"
How to Participate
Register online for the KAL, no cost, no obligation. In the next few days we'll send you a discount code for 15% off yarn for a Rebecca Clow project of your choosing. Join us on Sunday, February 15, 3:00pm CST for a Zoom KAL kickoff — that's right, participate from anywhere in the world! We'll also have in-person social knitting opportunities for local knitters over the course of the KAL. You can also follow along on our KAL Ravelry group, post your progress on social media — @theyarnery #clowupglowup — or just knit quietly along. Whatever you'd like!
What You Get
Fun, satisfaction, a sense of community — and couldn't we all use that right now? We'll also give you a coupon code for 15% off your project yarn — whether you knit a cowl, shawl, sweater, or whatever — Rebecca has many to choose from. We'll send out occasional emails with updates from our hosts, and a surprise or two. And of course, we'll have lots of prizes, whether you finish your project by the end of the KAL or not.
About Rebecca
RebeccaI released her first pattern in October 2022 as a challenge to see how hard it was to produce a size-inclusive design. She loves designing garments and accessories that are fun and engaging to knit while also slotting into a modern wardrobe. We especially appreciate her energetic, optimistic podcast.
You can find Rebecca on Instagram on YouTube, or if you're in Scotland, wandering around Edinburgh with knitting in hand!
