From the Weekend Away series, a sweater to relax with, live in, and borrowed! There are details that make it a fun and learning-filled knit. The sweater's construction is the star:
Construction
Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up, starting with the sleeves. Once these are complete, the body is worked in the round, and then all pieces are joined together to work the yoke in the round. Underarm and sleeve shaping is worked in the round for a short time, then the body is split at the center front to create a henley neckline. After shaping is complete, short rows are worked on the right front, then back, then left front, then saddles are worked to join these shoulders together. Finally, a neckband is picked up and worked to create a stand-up collar. —Bristol Ivy, designer
