A sustainable yarn ideal for summer. Plant fibers give the yarn a slightly rustic quality (think flax, linen), with a subtle sheen (not unlike bamboo). The yarn is soft, crisp, and naturally breathable. It's already a hit!
Ananas is made from lycocell (made from wood pulp) and pineapple fiber! The pineapple fiber in this yarn is from the leaves, which would otherwise be burned. The fibers used are processed using sustainable methods, without bleach. Instead of harmful chemicals, an enzyme process washes away contaminants and the rest of the process is mechanized to minimize environmental impact.
