Knitting charts are useful tools for knitters. Charts are a graphic representation of a stitch pattern, and learning to use them opens up a whole new world of projects you can create. Some patterns include only a chart without corresponding written instructions, so it’s important to know how to read one. You’ll learn what to know before you even cast on, how to decipher stitch symbols, how to keep track of your progress, and you'll practice using charts in lace, cable, and colorwork patterns. Never be nervous about using charts again.
Materials Needed
• Smooth, light-colored yarn in DK weight or worsted weight
• Knitting needles appropriate to your chosen yarn (US 6–8)
• Pen or pencil
No refunds are available for class registrations. Store credit will be issued for classes cancelled at least one week before the first session of a class. Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to all class policies.
