$35 registration fee
(materials to be purchased separately)
Note: Workshop will be held at The Yarnery's new location: 2040 St. Clair Ave, St. Paul, MN 55105.
You've gone to a lot of work to knit a sweater (or any project, really) — don't let the final details bring you down, or scare you off! In this workshop you'll perfect basic mattress stitch seaming, and we'll touch on some of the other details that give your garments a professional look: blocking, button bands, sewing on buttons, grafting, and so on. Bring your questions!
Materials Needed
US 7 (4.5 mm) or US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles
Smooth, light-colored worsted weight yarn
Locking stitch markers
Before Class
With yarn and needle listed above, cast on 24 sts and knit approx. 3" in stockinette st (knitting right side rows, purling wrong side rows). Bind off and lightly block. Repeat so you have two swatches to bring to class.
Please purchase materials ahead of time and bring them with you to the workshop. Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to the class policies.
