The Garter Edge Vest is a casual, easy-to-layer V-neck vest with a relaxed silhouette and deep armholes. It's got a gender-neutral look and fit. As a vest, it has an interesting construction: worked seamlessly from the top down, with the garter stitch neckband and armhole bands knitted at the same time as the body. The back neckline and shoulders are worked first, with short row shaping. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders to work front sections down to the base of the V-neck. Front and back are connected under the arms with small gussets. Since the vest is knit topdown, the length can be adjusted during knitting.
And if all that sounds a bit confusing, this class is for you! An all-weather, all seasons vest perfect for a forever wardrobe.
