How to Read a Pattern Workshop

$45.00

SKILL LEVEL:  ✔ Novice

(one-session workshop)
Mary Lou Egan, instructor

Have mastered the basics of knitting, but still feel intimidated by following a pattern? At first glance a knitting pattern, with all its abbreviations and symbols, can seem like a math problem. And as you've probably discovered, no two designers write a pattern the same way. By learning the conventions of pattern writing, you will be able to “work even” and “at the same time” all the way to the bind off. This workshop is useful for both new and seasoned knitters.

Materials Needed
• Whatever works best for you to take notes: pen and paper, tablet, laptop; a handout will also be provided.
• A pattern you find challenging (opt.)

No refunds are available for class registrations. Store credit will be issued for classes cancelled at least one week before the first session of a class. Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to all class policies.
