This workshop is designed for children ages 5–9. The age designation was made by the instructor. Please include the child's name and age in the notes section of your order, or email info@yarnery.com. Please note that sharp needles are used in week two of the class.
Dive into the world of felting with this two-session class. We’ll use wet felting and needle felting techniques to create one-of-a-kind wall hangings inspired by landscapes and cultures around the world. This is a hands-on, sensory-rich class that leans into imagination and creativity. Week one: wet felting; week two: needle felting.
An educator of 25 years and the founder of Free Forest School, Anna Sharratt has facilitated learning in forests, classrooms, kitchens, board rooms, and craft rooms with students of all ages. Anna is a practitioner and trainer of the Swedish slöjdklubben teaching methodology, a process-oriented approach that promotes accessibility, creativity, critical thinking, and sustainability through the exploration of traditional Scandinavian handcraft. Anna lives in Minneapolis with her partner and three kids.
No refunds are available for class registrations. Store credit will be issued for classes cancelled at least one week before the first session of a class. Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to all class policies.
