Kogin fabric has a vertically elongated rectangular weave, so the finished stitched pattern will be more vertical than the printed design, making it easier to create traditional kogin embroidery patterns.
The surface of the fabric has been treated with starch, making it easier to see the spaces between the threads to stitch. The weave is woven to be used in conjunction with Daruma Kogin Thread.
