You've crocheted dishcloths and granny squares — what's next? A hat! Crocheted hats are everywhere in fashion right now, they're fun to make, and yo'll learn a lot of new techniques. This one also happens to be a perfect Minnesota-in-winter kind of hat.

Pine Woods Beanie features a raised pine tree design encircling the hat. The raised stitches are created easily with front and back loop stitches (overlay technique) and the pattern includes a stitch chart in addition to written instructions. The finished hat measures 9.5” in height.
