The Porcelaine Shawl is an homage to Delft Blue, pieced together like broken shards of pottery might be repaired. The shawl pattern will include a series of individual pieces featuring a variety of knitting techniques, stitched together and backed with a lovely piece of coordinating fabric. A clasp is also included to complete the shawl.
Delft Blue is a centuries-old art form that began in the city of Delft, the Netherlands. Inspired by imported chinese porcelain, Dutch artisans reimagined it in their own unique way — hand painting each piece with cobalt blue pigments on white earthenware.
The Porcelaine Shawl Kit includes:

• Charted printed pattern exclusive to the kit, not available separately. Digital access also provied
