Short rows can be used decoratively to create shapes and wedges (as in the Ellsworth Wrap, pictured). They're also a powerful technique for shaping and adjusting the fit of you knitting.  We'll look at wrap and turn, German short rows, shadow wraps, and others.  What are the benefits of each? How can you substitute one for the other?

Materials Needed
US 7 (4.5 mm) or US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles
Smooth, light-colored worsted weight yarn

Before Class
With yarn and needle listed above, cast on 24 sts and knit approx. 3-4" in stockinette st (knitting right side rows, purling wrong side rows). Leave stitches on needle and bring swatch to class.

No refunds are available for class registrations. Store credit will be issued for classes cancelled at least one week before the first session of a class. Registration for a class indicates you have read and agree to all class policies.
